Speed Limits The top speed limit in Jersey is just 40mph (64 km/h), as most roads are narrow and windy. In built up areas it’s 30mph (48km/h). Green Lanes Green Lanes are designed to give pedestrians and cyclists priority. They are sign posted and have a speed limit of 15mph (24km/h), so are better to avoid if driving. Filter in Turn You may come across signs at junctions which read Filter in Turn. This means drivers are to take turns at the junction when joining or crossing traffic.
