Parking in urban areas
In towns and cities, drivers must be careful not
to park on, or obstruct, tram lines.
Alcohol
The permitted limit for alcohol in the blood is 0.05% and less
for inexperienced drivers. Police may require an immediate on-the-spot drug or alcohol test.
You cannot refuse being breathalysed without stringent penalties.
Jurmala
There are no tolls on the roads in Latvia. However, you will be
required to pay in order to enter the city of Jurmala between April and September.

Latvia.

On arrival in Riga you will first be struck by the domineering Gothic spires. But look beyond
the façade and you quickly find Art Nouveau flamboyantly splashed across the city.
