Know where you can drive
The old town is a labyrinth of windy streets and there are a number of traffic restrictions in place, so make sure you know these in advance. If you spend more than 45 minutes within certain parts of the centre from 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday, you could be fined.
The best place to park
You’ll find underground parking facilities on the outskirts of the city centre. These complexes are often a good place to keep your rental when you’re wandering the local sights. Bare in mind that parking in a multi-storey will add 10-20 Euros to your budget each day of your stay.
Travelling out of the city
The AP-4 motorway runs from Seville to Cadiz and includes a toll charge for drivers travelling this route. The fee is around €7.50 each way. There are plenty of other beautiful towns and villages to visit around the outskirts of Seville. If you have the time, drive towards the dramatic town of Ronda.

Barrio Santa Cruz

La Macarena
One of the less obvious neighborhoods to wander – but still worth a visit – La Macarena boasts a number of points of interest including the Convent of St Agnes. Its creative vibe makes it a hit with visitors and food stalls serving up fresh paella are a must see (and try!).
Triana & El Arenal
These two neighborhoods are actually connected by a river. El Arenal is known for its stunning monuments while Triana used to be a gypsy quarter and is perfect for wandering markets, food stalls and shops.
