A bit about Keddy
Keddy was set up by Europcar in March 2015 as an alternative low-cost rental supplier.
Although it is aimed at the cost-conscious traveller, the brand remains committed to
quality customer service. It supplies the same fleet as Europcar, so you can expect
vehicles that are no more than six months old. Note, Keddy does not have its own website
and can only be found through online brokerages and comparison sites like easyCar.
Keddy age requirements
How old do you have to be to rent a car from Keddy?
In the UK, you must be a minimum of 22 years old to hire a car with Keddy.
Those between the ages of 22-25 must have held their driving licence for at least two years
and pay a young driver surcharge of £35.00 per day. Additionally, if you are under 30, you
are not allowed to hire large or premium vehicles.
Some alternative age restrictions apply in select locations across the UK, so be sure to
double check the fine print.
You may be as young as 18 years old to rent a vehicle with Keddy in France.
Young drivers aged 18-25 are required to pay a fee of €37 per day, up to a maximum of €370
per rental. This charge is to be paid upon pick up in the local currency.
When renting a car with Keddy in Spain, you must be a minimum of 21 years old.
If you are between 21-25 a young driver surcharge of €18.35 per day, up to a maximum of €178
per rental, will be applied to the total cost of your rental.
All drivers have to have held their full licence for at least one full year to rent with
Keddy.

Mileage
When booking a car with Keddy, keep an eye on the type of mileage included in the rental
policy. Keddy rentals often come with limited mileage, so you may only be given 100-200 free
kilometres. If you drive over the included mileage, you will have to pay an additional fee
per extra kilometre or mile driven.
