Locauto was established in 1979 and has become a major rental provider in Italy since. The company was among the first to offer long term rentals in the country and today operates through Locauto Rent (short term rentals) and Locauto Long Term. Recently, they have expanded into digital car rentals, which cuts queuing times by providing full service rentals via a mobile app. Locauto combines its decades of rental experience and Italian hospitality to provide customers with the best service possible.
Locauto Age Requirements
How old do you have to be to rent a car from Locauto?
Locauto allows drivers as young as 19 to rent their vehicles, so long as they have held their licence for at least one year. Renters between the ages of 19 and 21 must pay a young driver surcharge of €22 per day (excluding tax), while those aged 22-24 are required to pay €11 per day (excluding tax). This fee is paid in addition to the daily rental price but is included in the total price when you book through easyCar. To rent large sized and higher priced vehicles, you may have to be over the age of 25.
